This qualification delves into science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, equipping you to address 21st-century educational needs. You'll gain the expertise to encourage secondary students to enthusiastically engage with these critical disciplines.
The Master of Teaching (Secondary) STEM provides professional teaching certification for graduates holding relevant undergraduate degrees.
Upon completion, you'll qualify for registration with the NSW Educational Standards Authority (NESA) and meet the Australian Professional Standards for Graduate Teachers.
Duration: 2 years
Applicants must have successfully completed an undergraduate degree in the disciplines of science, technology, engineering and/or mathematics (STEM) and these subjects must match with the secondary STEM subject content requirements of the NSW Education Standards Authorities (NESA).
English Language Requirements:
IELTS: 7.5 overall score, minimum 7.0 in reading and writing, minimum 8.0 for speaking and listening; TOEFL internet-based score: Total score 105 Writing 24; Speaking 26; Listening 28 and Reading 24; Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE): 78 overall; Speaking 79; Listening 79; Reading 65; Writing 65.
