Western's Bachelor of Nursing This degree qualifies graduates to pursue registration as nurses anywhere in Australia. Emphasizing inquiry-driven education, analytical reasoning, and self-reflection, the curriculum covers nursing theory and practice for health maintenance and illness management throughout life. Grounded in primary healthcare principles, students explore how physical and behavioral sciences apply to nursing, along with research methods and evidence-based approaches. They learn to provide care for individuals, families, and communities of all ages and backgrounds. Students first develop clinical competencies through campus simulations before refining them during real-world placements in various healthcare facilities. Our curriculum stays current with modern nursing standards, healthcare developments, and educational innovations.
Students must have Successful completion of Year 12 or an equivalent qualification.
English Language Requirements:
IELTS: 7.0 overall score (min 7.0 in each subtest); TOEFL internet-based score of 94 Writing 27, Speaking 23, Reading 24, Listening 24; Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE): 665 Overall; minimum 65 in each of the four skills Writing, Speaking, Listening and Reading in one sitting.
