The Bachelor of Communication program explores diverse aspects of creative communication, helping you discover how your specialization intersects with other fields. Using self-guided, collaborative, and problem-solving approaches that involve hands-on community engagement, you'll develop an appreciation for ethical practices, academic honesty, inclusivity, and social equity principles. The Journalism specialization equips you with practical knowledge of media operations through immersive training in broadcast, digital, and print journalism. You'll hone reporting abilities for various platforms including newspapers, magazines, online media, radio, TV, and organizational communications, while gaining insights into newsroom dynamics and leadership.
Successful completion of Year 12 with an ATAR of 60, successful completion of a recognised foundation studies program, 1 year of university studies or completion of a qualification equivalent to an Australian AQF Certificate IV.
International Baccalaureate Diploma with a minimum score of 24.
