This program targets exceptional law students enrolled in the combined Bachelor of Business and Bachelor of Laws who desire to engage in advanced legal study and research. The Bachelor of Laws (Honours) fulfills the academic prerequisites for practicing law in Australia. Through collaborative, in-person problem and case-based instruction, supplemented with online resources and authentic assessments, students will cultivate essential knowledge and abilities. The curriculum offers a comprehensive, forward-thinking legal education with a strong emphasis on practical application. Learners will enhance their capabilities in problem-solving, analytical reasoning, research, communication, teamwork, self-discipline, and ethical and professional discernment. Opportunities exist to build expertise in legal advocacy, negotiation, and legal technology, and to broaden professional and educational experiences via work-integrated learning, clinical placements, and international exchanges. Based on the chosen Business major, career prospects span fields such as accounting, taxation, economics, banking and finance, industrial relations, management, government, policy and governance, marketing, and property.
