This program has been developed to address the requirements of Australia's government, businesses, and communities in connecting with Asian nations and their people across various domains, supporting national objectives and global integration.
Students gain exposure to modern Asian studies, including the intricate histories, political systems, cultural traditions, and languages of Asian nations, along with global matters influencing Australia's position and involvement in the region and worldwide.
The curriculum also incorporates subjects focused on the United States and Europe alongside Asian studies, plus international relations courses examining other global regions. It aims to cultivate well-rounded graduates equipped with the expertise to facilitate connections between Australia and the international community—especially Asia—through political, economic, trade, cultural, diplomatic, and strategic channels.
