This program leads toward a Master of Teaching degree and prepares you for a fulfilling career in early childhood education. You can also earn dual certification in both early childhood and primary education, qualifying you to teach across different age groups. Additionally, it provides transferable skills for diverse career opportunities outside educational settings.
The degree pathway enables progression to a Master of Teaching, opening doors to professional early childhood education roles. Students may alternatively complete combined early childhood and primary teaching credentials, gaining flexibility to work in multiple educational environments. The program also develops versatile competencies applicable beyond teaching careers.
Degree completers qualify for direct admission into the Master of Teaching (Birth-5 Years/Birth-12 Years) through the Transition to Teaching route. Finishing both undergraduate and postgraduate studies yields teaching qualifications for early childhood or combined early childhood/primary education. Final-year students receive guidance on transitioning to the postgraduate teaching qualification program.
