This criminology program enables students to critically examine crime and justice systems, with special emphasis on societal and cultural perspectives of criminal behavior and societal responses.

Key study areas encompass: criminal justice systems and operations; the historical development of criminological theories; patterns of victimization; crime prevention approaches and discussions; youth justice components; the transformation of correctional systems and punishment methods; policing and monitoring practices; the intersection of violence, gender, and criminal activity; media representations of crime; and current issues in criminological discourse.

Successful completion of Global Assessment Certificate with a GPA of 2.3.
Successful completion of Year 12 with an ATAR of 60, successful completion of a recognised foundation studies program, 1 year of university studies or completion of a qualification equivalent to an Australian AQF Certificate IV.
2 years full-time study at a recognised postsecondary institution where the language of instruction is English.
