This criminology program enables students to critically examine crime and justice systems, with special emphasis on societal and cultural perceptions of criminal behavior and responses to it.
Key study areas encompass: justice system structures and operations; the historical development of criminological theories; patterns of victimization; crime prevention approaches and discussions; youth justice considerations; the transformation of correctional systems and punishment methods; policing and monitoring practices; the intersection of violence, gender, and criminal activity; media representations of crime; and current issues in criminological research.

Successful completion of Global Assessment Certificate with a GPA of 2.3.
Successful completion of Year 12 with an ATAR of 60, successful completion of a recognised foundation studies program, 1 year of university studies or completion of a qualification equivalent to an Australian AQF Certificate IV.
2 years full-time study at a recognised postsecondary institution where the language of instruction is English.
