At Victoria University, your Master of Research journey will be customized based on your educational background. You'll develop essential expertise in research ethics and project planning before advancing to specialized research methodologies or discipline-specific components aligned with your focus area. Upon maintaining a 70% average in coursework, you'll embark on original research in your chosen area of specialization.
Program highlights
VU's innovative Master of Research enables students to conduct and finalize a supervised research project at AQF Level 9. The curriculum begins with foundational coursework units addressing: a) research process fundamentals and expectations, and b) relevant disciplinary specialization when applicable. (Note: Students entering with varying qualifications may qualify for unit credits. For instance, those with an AQF Level 7 degree in their research field may receive advanced standing for one disciplinary studies unit.) The research journey features structured milestones to ensure consistent support and timely, high-quality project completion.
