Build a strong grounding in research methodologies before pursuing a thesis in health or sports fields. The Master of Applied Research program welcomes bachelor's graduates from all academic backgrounds.
By enrolling in Victoria University's Master of Applied Research, you'll explore essential subjects to launch your successful research journey, covering methodology, ethics, project development, and specialized knowledge in your chosen field. After completing core units with a minimum 70% average, you'll embark on original research in an area that matches both your personal interests and our institutional priorities.
Program objectives
VU's innovative Master of Research enables students to conduct and finalize a supervised research project at the master's level (AQF 9). This is accomplished through introductory coursework units that address a) research process fundamentals and expectations, and b) relevant disciplinary specialization when applicable. The research journey is further supported through structured milestones, ensuring continuous guidance and facilitating high-quality, timely project completion.
