Program objectives
VU's innovative Master of Applied Research enables students to conduct and finalize a supervised research project at the master's level (AQF 9). This is accomplished through introductory coursework units addressing a) research process fundamentals and expectations, and b) relevant disciplinary specialization when applicable. The research journey features structured milestones to maintain support, quality, and timely project completion.
Upon successfully finishing this program, graduates will be able to:
Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of core principles and contemporary discussions regarding research ethics and integrity;
Show awareness of applicable national guidelines and institutional policies affecting research conduct across various settings;
