This program equips students with specialized expertise in network and systems computing through a comprehensive curriculum covering networking and network administration. Building upon core IT concepts such as computer networks, programming, databases, and operating systems from the Bachelor of Information Technology, students will explore server administration, enterprise networking, routing protocols, IPv6 implementation, wireless technologies, network architecture, IoT systems, cybersecurity, and virtualization. The coursework prepares learners for industry certifications including Microsoft Server Administration, Active Directory, HyperV, along with Cisco's CCNA, CCNA Wireless, and CCNA Security. Students will also employ cutting-edge technologies to solve practical challenges through hands-on capstone projects in their final year.

Qualification Requirements

TAFE- Completion of a cognate (similar discipline) Australian Diploma or Advanced Diploma (or equivalent), will be granted advanced standing of a maximum 96 credit points (Diploma) or 144 credit points (Advanced Diploma).
Year 12: Completion of an Australian Senior Secondary Certificate (VCE or equivalent) including Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 25 in English (EAL) or at least 20 in any other English, and a study score of at least 20 in any Mathematics.
International- Completion of an Australian Senior Secondary Certificate (VCE or equivalent) including at least one of the following subjects: Mathematics
OR
Completion of an Australian Diploma or Advanced Diploma (or equivalent),
IELTS (Academic Module)- overall score (no band less than) 6.0 (6.0)
