The Graduate Diploma in Engineering equips students with practical skills and expertise to advance their engineering understanding and pursue professional engineering careers. It also serves as an enhancement program for practicing engineers seeking to expand their technical capabilities. This qualification offers a direct route to UOW's Master of Engineering, recognized by Engineers Australia for professional accreditation.
Your studies will focus on essential engineering topics including Innovation and Design, Advanced Laboratory Techniques, ICT Workplace Communication, and Engineering Research Methods. Additionally, you'll select four specialized electives in computer, electrical, or telecommunications engineering based on your area of interest.
At least a recognised three-year Bachelor of Engineering degree with an equivalent average mark of 60%; or a four-year Bachelor of Engineering degree with an equivalent average mark of 50%.
