The Bachelor of Social Science (Occupational Health and Safety) equips students with comprehensive knowledge of workplace health and safety principles to prevent injuries and illnesses.
UOW's OHS curriculum, designed in collaboration with industry experts, tackles the multifaceted challenges of workplace safety. Graduates will gain specialized expertise to effectively handle complex occupational health issues.
This major covers Work Health and Safety laws, stakeholder responsibilities, and practical approaches to managing workplace safety. Students will acquire essential skills in risk management, including hazard identification, risk evaluation techniques, and implementation of control measures.
