This program is designed to meet the growing worldwide demand for hearing health care by equipping students with research capabilities, development expertise, and scientific communication skills in audiology. The Master of Hearing Sciences curriculum establishes core audiological practice fundamentals via lectures, tutorials, and hands-on sessions, enhanced by simulation activities (both computer-based and tutorial) and workplace observation experiences.
The Master of Hearing Sciences program offers students:
Core principles of audiological practice delivered through lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions, complemented by simulation training (computer-based and tutorial) and observational workplace opportunities
Comprehensive research training covering identifying research requirements, ethical research procedures, project planning, budgeting, data gathering, analysis, and professional scientific writing. Each student will undertake an audiology research project in their chosen specialization
