This program aims to develop highly skilled professionals equipped with both theoretical understanding and hands-on expertise to address environmental issues at various scales, from community-level to worldwide concerns, both presently and in the years ahead. With its strongly interdisciplinary nature, the curriculum offers students comprehensive knowledge of environmental mechanisms alongside instruction in policy frameworks and management strategies. Participants acquire crucial competencies in data processing, laboratory and fieldwork techniques, as well as geographic information systems and remote sensing applications. A key outcome is developing your capacity as a creative problem-solver who can evaluate specialized research, combine it with policy knowledge and emerging technologies, and devise strategies for environmental preservation and sustainable development.

Qualification Requirements
To be considered for admission to this course an applicant must have
a a bachelors degree or equivalent as recognised by UWA
and
b the equivalent of a UWA weighted average mark of at least 50 per cent
and
c met the prerequisite for the chosen specialisation
2 For the Environmental Management or Environmental Economics specialisations an applicant must have completed prior studies at a tertiary level in either science engineering economics natural resource management urban and regional planning or policy studies or a related cognate discipline as recognised by UWA
3 For the Catchments and Water or Environmental Rehabilitation or Sensing and Data Science specialisations an applicant must have completed prior studies at a tertiary level in either earth environmental engineering biological or physical sciences or a related cognate discipline as recognised by UWA
4 For the Marine and Coastal specialisation an applicant must have completed prior studies at a tertiary level in either marine environmental engineering biological or physical sciences or a related cognate discipline as recognised by UWA
Minimum overall score of 6.5 with no band less than 6.0 must include Academic Reading and Writing modules
TOEFL - Internet-based Test iBT An overall score of 82 with a minimum score of 22 in the Writing section 18 in the Reading section 20 in the Speaking section and 20 in the Listening section for all courses.
TOEFL - Essay Rating Test of Written English TWE of 45 and either 230 Computer-based or 570 Paper-based score.
