The Global Centre for Environmental Remediation (GCER) works to protect communities' social, economic, and physical wellbeing through creating advanced, affordable, and sustainable technologies that minimize environmental pollution. A clean environment is fundamental to Australia's public health, security, and long-term economic growth. These priorities face threats from extensive pollution of soil, air, and water resources resulting from decades of human activity. Current estimates show Australia allocates more than AU$2 billion annually for land and water decontamination efforts, while valuable urban spaces remain undeveloped due to contamination concerns.

Qualification Requirements
i) have satisfied all of the requirements for admission to the degree of Bachelor with Honours Class 1 or Honours Class II, Division 1 or any other degree approved for this purpose by the Head of School; or
ii) have satisfied all the requirements for admission to a degree of Bachelor in the University or another degree approved for this purpose by the Head of School; or
iii) in exceptional cases produce evidence of possessing such other academic or professional qualifications and/or experience as may be approved by the Head of School; or
