The Bachelor of Biomedicine (Specialised) is a hands-on program offering comprehensive education in diverse health and medical fields, structured to align with UWA's professional healthcare degrees. Students can choose from various biomedical specializations to explore their interests in depth, covering areas such as Aboriginal Health, Human Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, Physiology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, and Pathology.
The Integrated Medical Sciences and Clinical Practice major integrates multiple biomedical disciplines to study and address human diseases. This pathway equips students for advanced training in the Doctor of Medicine through a Guaranteed Entry program.
This expanded major is exclusively for students admitted with a Guaranteed Pathway to the Doctor of Medicine. The Integrated Medical Sciences and Clinical Practice (IMSCP) major spans numerous health and medical science disciplines, delivering foundational knowledge across biomedical fields like anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, haematology, microbiology, pathology, pharmacology, and public health.
