The Bachelor of Medical Science (Honours) program demonstrates a dedication to research-focused learning. Expanding upon the foundational Bachelor of Medical Science that integrates genetics, immunology, nutrition, physiology, microbiology, biochemistry, and anatomy, the Honours component enables students to investigate research opportunities across various interconnected fields such as biology, neuroscience, chemistry, and public health (among others). This program equips students for professional careers or advanced research degrees by fostering an in-depth understanding of research methodologies, theoretical frameworks, and discipline-specific principles. Students undertake a research project designed to generate novel insights or address complex challenges. The Honours program offers specializations aligned with ANU's academic and research expertise in science, medicine, and health disciplines.
