The two-year Master of Physiotherapy program is a graduate-level qualification that enables graduates to register as physiotherapists in Australia. This practice-oriented course takes an innovative approach, covering essential disciplines such as musculoskeletal, neurological, orthopaedic, and cardiorespiratory physiotherapy for patients of all ages.

Beyond foundational physiotherapy studies, the curriculum incorporates evidence-based practice, professional development, interdisciplinary collaboration, leadership training, and a mandatory research component. Specialized modules focus on managing complex cases, community rehabilitation, and health promotion. Students compile a professional portfolio to demonstrate their clinical competencies.

Designed by leading physiotherapy educators, the program features an integrated, learner-centered approach utilizing state-of-the-art teaching technologies. Its development involved collaboration with practicing clinicians from both hospital and private practice settings, ensuring strong industry connections.

Throughout the program, students complete 700-800 hours of arranged clinical placements across diverse patient populations. These carefully curated hospital and private practice experiences, supervised by expert physiotherapists, reinforce classroom learning. While most placements occur in Sydney, some students may access opportunities in regional areas.
