This course prepares you to become a confident and capable pharmacist prescriber, giving you the skills to make safe and effective prescribing decisions that improve patient care. You will develop advanced knowledge in therapeutics, clinical reasoning and prescribing frameworks, and build practical skills in consultation, patient follow up, interprofessional collaboration and culturally responsive practice, including care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Learning is delivered online through interactive workshops and case-based activities, supported by supervised practice and an on-campus residential program where you apply your knowledge and skills in real-world contexts, so you graduate ready to prescribe effectively with confidence.

Applicants must meet the AHPRA Registration Standard: English Language Skills. Evidence of current general registration with the applicable professional AHPRA board will satisfy the minimum English language proficiency requirement.
