You'll discover how to help individuals overcome obstacles and reach their objectives as a culturally sensitive and principled professional.
Your education covers effective communication with diverse clients and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams. You'll cultivate abilities in clinical judgment, thoughtful self-evaluation, and sustainable, research-informed approaches. Through community initiatives and hands-on learning experiences, you'll practice applying occupational therapy methods to address intricate health concerns.
This program prepares you to work with individuals, families, caregivers, teams, and various healthcare professionals across multiple environments, including regional and isolated locations.
This full-time two-year program combines independent online study with weekly interactive sessions and group learning. Each semester includes two intensive week-long residential schools in Launceston, along with practical work placements. While Launceston serves as the primary learning center, the program's flexible structure allows you to complete portions of your studies from anywhere in Tasmania.
Upon completing the Master of Occupational Therapy, graduates will possess both the theoretical understanding and hands-on skills necessary to become certified Occupational Therapists.
