Occupational therapists (OTs) assist individuals across all age groups to enhance their daily living and overcome challenges impacting their routine tasks. OTs employ various therapeutic approaches to support those dealing with injuries, illnesses, psychological concerns, developmental issues, or age-related conditions.
This 30-month program concentrates on occupational therapy application, highlighting how existing expertise can optimize therapeutic outcomes while fostering advanced learning techniques for continuous career growth.
The curriculum expands upon your prior education by integrating core occupational therapy concepts, equipping you with cross-disciplinary knowledge and practical competencies essential for professional practice. You'll engage in research-oriented coursework and receive specialized training in clinical decision-making and healthcare studies, deepening your appreciation for evidence-based approaches in occupational therapy.
Applicants must hold a bachelor degree and have completed university level studies in statistics, human anatomy, human physiology, and social sciences.
Entry is competitive based on GPA, with a limited intake capacity.
The minimum GPA to be considered for admission into this program is 4.0. The GPA cut-off for those offered a place in 2020 was 4.52.
