The Bachelor of Marine and Antarctic Science with Honours (Specialisation) is a four-year degree program incorporating embedded Honours. The first specialization available will be Physical Oceanography. This program equips students with expertise in advanced physical oceanography and mathematics, along with instruction in scientific research methodologies, enabling graduates to independently conduct physical oceanography studies effectively. Additionally, the program offers research preparation, laying the foundation for advanced studies such as MSc and PhD programs, including prestigious joint initiatives like the UTAS-CMAR QMS PhD program and the UTAS-AAD QAS PhD program for top-performing students.
