Managing risk is a crucial component of project management. This specialization builds upon the foundational risk management skills taught in the project management curriculum by offering specialized training in systemic risk analysis through system dynamics modeling. Students will gain expertise in integrated cost scheduling, software applications, and contract management for effective risk control. The program also explores disaster project management as a specialized application of risk management principles.
The Master of Project Management is a graduate-level program designed to equip students with advanced, practical project management capabilities.
The curriculum includes core coursework in technical, strategic, and leadership domains, culminating in either a research thesis or professional capstone project. Additional elective units complete the program requirements to ensure comprehensive skill development.

To be eligible for admission, an applicant is required to have:
an Australian bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Commerce, Engineering, Social Sciences, Health, etc.) with a credit average (65 percent) or equivalent qualification or
an Australian bachelor's degree (with honours) in an unrelated discipline, or equivalent qualification or
an Australian bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification and relevant industry experience and certifications or
a University of Sydney Graduate Diploma/Graduate Certificate in Project Management with a credit average (65 percent).
IELTS score- A minimum result of 6.5 overall and a minimum result of 6.0 in each band
TOEFL - IBT score- A minimum result of 85 overall including a minimum result of 17 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 19 in Writing
