The Marketing specialization in the Master of Commerce and Master of Commerce (Extension) provides dynamic opportunities to explore research, theory, and strategic approaches across all business and organizational domains.
This Marketing track expands on fundamental marketing concepts to equip students with cutting-edge expertise in strategic planning, encompassing market analysis, communication strategies, consumer psychology, and product innovation.
The Master of Commerce (Extension) is a graduate-level program designed to advance careers in diverse business sectors such as accounting, marketing, or specialized fields within both public and private organizations.

During your initial year, core curriculum components will cultivate innovative thinking and analytical proficiency while introducing you to eight potential specialization paths.

Your studies will include fundamental courses aligned with your chosen specialization, culminating in a capstone project during your final term that synthesizes the knowledge and competencies acquired throughout the program. Qualification Requirements

To be considered for admission, an applicant is required to have:

an Australian bachelor's degree or higher with a credit average (65 percent) or equivalent qualification, or
an Australian bachelor's degree or higher (minimum 50 percent average) or equivalent qualification, and satisfactory performance in the GMAT (for guidance, the class average score is 630), or
the University of Sydney Graduate Diploma or Graduate Certificate in Commerce with a credit average (65 percent).
IELTS - A minimum result of 7.0 overall and a minimum result of 6.0 in each band
TOEFL IBT - A minimum result of 96 overall including a minimum result of 17 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 19 in Writing
