Designed for design professionals and built-environment specialists seeking to expand their sustainable design knowledge, as well as graduates from Architecture and Environments or Design in Architecture undergraduate programs.
The Master of Architectural Science (Sustainable Design) is a graduate degree program centered on Sustainable Design, cultivating visionary architects with sustainability expertise.
Through core foundational and advanced coursework, you'll master sustainable construction techniques and methodologies, culminating in a capstone research project or thesis.
Elective units are available to fulfill program requirements, with the option to pursue a dual specialization by completing 96 credit points and the necessary advanced coursework for a secondary focus area.
Admission to the Master of Architectural Science requires:
a bachelor's degree from the University of Sydney or an equivalent qualification; or
completion of the requirements of the embedded graduate diploma; or
completion of the requirement of the graduate certificate with a weighted average mark of at least 70 across all the units attempted for the award.
IELTS score: A minimum result of 6.5 overall and a minimum result of 6.0 in each band
TOEFL - IBT score: A minimum result of 85 overall including a minimum result of 17 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 19 in Writing
Pearsons Test of English: A minimum result of 61 overall and a minimum result of 54 in each band
