The curriculum integrates creative sound design, digital media, recording techniques, and system engineering with acoustic science, computational modeling, and psychological aspects. You'll expand your knowledge of design science (covering lighting, building systems, eco-friendly design, and indoor environmental quality) while utilizing the School's state-of-the-art facilities.
Diverse course options allow specialization in audio technology and acoustical studies. Enhance your learning through research projects and choose from extensive electives in recording and production.

Admission to the Master of Architectural Science requires:
a bachelor's degree from the University of Sydney or an equivalent qualification; or
completion of the requirements of the embedded graduate diploma; or
completion of the requirement of the graduate certificate with a weighted average mark of at least 70 across all the units attempted for the award.
IELTS score: A minimum result of 6.5 overall and a minimum result of 6.0 in each band
TOEFL - IBT score: A minimum result of 85 overall including a minimum result of 17 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 19 in Writing
Pearsons Test of English: A minimum result of 61 overall and a minimum result of 54 in each band
