This program teaches students the core principles of human-centered product and system design, emphasizing interactive technologies and experiences. It encourages innovative and analytical thinking through research-based interaction design and UX methodologies.
Designed for skilled individuals pursuing careers in user experience, interaction design, or creative technological applications for design and business.
Throughout the program, you'll develop expertise in designing across various platforms and scales - from natural interfaces and wearables to interactive environments, creative robotics, and smart city technologies.
Additionally, you'll create an impressive portfolio demonstrating both your design capabilities and your ability to effectively communicate the user experience of innovative products and services.
The program offers flexibility through elective courses from other disciplines, allowing you to tailor your studies to personal interests.
Admission to this course requires:
a bachelor's degree from the University of Sydney or an equivalent qualification; or
completion of the requirements of the embedded graduate certificate with a WAM of at least 70.
Graduate Diploma students may apply to upgrade to the Masters at the completion of their program
IELTS score: A minimum result of 6.5 overall and a minimum result of 6.0 in each band
TOEFL - IBT score: A minimum result of 85 overall including a minimum result of 17 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 19 in Writing
Pearsons Test of English: A minimum result of 61 overall and a minimum result of 54 in each band
