Allow us to motivate you to join the future wave of wildlife conservation specialists. The Taronga Wildlife Conservation track includes a major that integrates biological sciences, ecosystem studies, and preservation principles with required coursework in statistical analysis and animal biology. It offers comprehensive education in wildlife conservation, covering animal health, habitat management, and species behavior. Instruction occurs at the University's Camperdown and Camden locations, the Taronga Institute of Science & Learning at Sydney's Taronga Zoo, and Taronga Western Plains Zoo in Dubbo. As the first facility of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere, the Taronga Institute serves as a portal for students to engage with the zoo's resources while offering hands-on, immersive educational experiences in an active scientific setting. Upon completion, you'll possess sophisticated research abilities in biological conservation, a strong inquisitive nature, self-motivation, and intercultural competencies strengthened through global exchange programs. You'll be equipped to drive environmental awareness and champion biodiversity protection initiatives.
