This program is designed for aspiring musicians seeking professional performance careers in orchestral, operatic, jazz ensemble, or musical theater settings.
The Bachelor of Music (Performance) is a specialized undergraduate degree that prepares you for a professional career as a musical performer.
Your studies will include foundational coursework in music theory, ear training, musical analysis, and cultural/historical studies, complemented by focused training in your primary instrument or performance specialty. The program also features ensemble work and performance practice, culminating in a final recital and specialized project.

A secondary education qualification such as the NSW Higher School Certificate (including national and international equivalents), OR approved higher education study, including approved preparation courses.
Alternatively, applicants may be granted admission on the basis of:
having successfully undertaken tertiary studies in music at or above Diploma level to the equivalent of at least one year of study.
IELTS - A minimum result of 6.5 overall and a minimum result of 6.0 in each band
TOEFL - IBT score A minimum result of 85 overall including a minimum result of 17 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 19 in Writing
