The Bachelor of Engineering Honours (Dalyell Scholars) offers exceptional students (with an ATAR of 98 or equivalent) a unique educational pathway featuring specialized enrichment activities and advanced coursework tailored to their engineering discipline.

As an undergraduate degree with honors distinction, the Dalyell Stream enables outstanding scholars to pursue advanced studies that augment their primary engineering specialization, with accreditation from Engineers Australia and other leading engineering bodies.
Your curriculum will include fundamental courses in mathematics and computing, interdisciplinary project work, along with specialized subjects in your chosen engineering field.
You'll also select additional electives from either Engineering-specific offerings or the shared course pool to fulfill degree requirements. The program culminates in an honors research project during your final year.
The Professional Engagement Program integrates practical experience throughout your studies, including mandatory engineering internships in the concluding year of your degree.
A secondary education qualification such as the NSW Higher School Certificate (including national and international equivalents) with an ATAR of 98 or equivalent, or the first year of full-time study in a bachelor's degree with an average mark of 80 or equivalent.
IELTS score: A minimum result of 6.5 overall and a minimum result of 6.0 in each band
TOEFL - IBT score: A minimum result of 85 overall including a minimum result of 17 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 19 in Writing
Pearsons Test of English: A minimum result of 61 overall and a minimum result of 54 in each band
