The Business School Honours Program offers an intensive additional year of study for high-achieving Bachelor of Commerce graduates. This challenging program aims to distinguish participants and propel their international business careers forward. The Honours year serves as a springboard, whether you're pursuing advanced research or entering your desired industry. During the program, you'll engage with advanced coursework and undertake a research thesis, with specialized units designed to enhance your research capabilities and subject-matter expertise. The History Honours program's fourth year involves two seminars (each contributing 20% to your final grade) requiring 6,000-8,000 words of written work. The substantial 18,000-20,000 word thesis accounts for 60% of your overall mark.
This honours year provides a professional introduction to historical studies. Through seminars, you'll engage with theoretical and practical historical challenges, while the thesis offers the opportunity to identify important historical questions and produce original, in-depth research.
