The Business School Honours Program offers an intensive additional year of study for high-achieving Bachelor of Commerce graduates. This challenging program aims to distinguish participants and propel their international business careers forward. The Honours year serves as a springboard, whether you're pursuing advanced research or entering your desired industry. We cultivate graduates who exhibit exceptional motivation, organizational skills, and initiative. During the program, you'll engage with advanced coursework and undertake a research thesis, with specialized units designed to enhance your research capabilities and subject-matter expertise. Honours graduates become part of an elite network, working closely with academic experts to explore research questions and contribute new knowledge to their field. The program's effectiveness depends on students' practical engagement, offering a chance to delve deeper into unanswered questions from undergraduate studies. The specialized competencies gained during this year make graduates highly attractive to employers and launch them toward accelerated career growth. Our alumni hold prominent roles across academia, government, and corporate leadership.
The History Honours program's fourth year involves two seminars (each contributing 20% to your final grade) requiring 6,000-8,000 words of written work. The substantial 18,000-20,000 word thesis accounts for 60% of your overall mark.

This honours year provides a professional introduction to historical studies. Through seminars, you'll engage with theoretical and practical historical challenges, while the thesis offers the opportunity to identify important historical questions and produce original, in-depth research.
