The Dalyell Scholars program within the Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Advanced Studies is designed to cultivate future leaders who will develop groundbreaking solutions to positively transform the world. You will register for specialized Dalyell units and benefit from a range of exclusive enrichment activities. Tailored for high-achieving students with an ATAR (or equivalent) of 98, this program challenges participants to excel alongside their most gifted contemporaries. You'll gain entry to masterclasses, events, coursework, and competitions created specifically for the program. Our curriculum delivers a comprehensive education in subjects like accounting, management, and business analytics, while also enhancing interpersonal and leadership capabilities. Beyond technical training, you'll acquire analytical and problem-solving abilities to effectively implement your knowledge in professional settings. The Dalyell Scholars program offers a chance to push your limits among your brightest peers, fostering collaboration and connections with similarly ambitious global changemakers. You'll leverage the University's extensive interdisciplinary resources, building the leadership and professional skills needed to join our most esteemed graduates.
To be eligible for admission, an applicant is required to have:
a three year Australian bachelor's degree in a cognate discipline that demonstrates a background in computer programming and statistics with a minimum credit average (65 percent), or
the University of Sydney Graduate Diploma in Data Science with a minimum credit average (65 percent), or a qualification deemed to be equivalent; or
completed 24 credit points of the University of Sydney Graduate Diploma in Data Science or Graduate Certificate in Data Science with a minimum credit average (65 percent). The 24 credit points must include 12 credit points of Data Science Core units and 12 credit points of Data Science specialist elective units.
