Explore human physiology and the effects of illnesses, infections, and medical conditions

Qualification Requirements
The BMedSc program is restricted to high-achieving secondary school students who have completed Year 12 no more than three (3) years before admission. Applicants must not have previously attempted any tertiary study at diploma level or higher. Current USC students are not able to apply internally for the BMedSc program. Enrolments into the program will be capped at 20 places each year.
A limited number of places in this program may be set aside for applicants from a rural background. Refer to Rural Access Scheme to check eligibility
For entry into most USC undergraduate degree programs, you need to have completed a minimum level of education similar to successful completion of Australian Year 12 with good grades.
Global Assessment Certificate (GAC) - Successful completion with a minimum GPA of 2.3. International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma - Successful completion with minimum score of 24 (minimum score of 4 in each of six subjects)
IELTS (Academic) - Overall score of 7.0 with minimum 6.5 in each subtest
TOEFL iBT - Overall score of 96 with minimum score of 24 for writing and 23 in all other sections
