The Associate Degree in Engineering offers the flexibility to launch your career or pave the way for advanced studies. As the sole Agricultural Engineering program available across Australia and New Zealand, you'll acquire specialized expertise to excel professionally through UniSQ's Associate Degree in Engineering (Agricultural). Much of your coursework will focus on hands-on, industry-linked projects that support the United Nations' sustainability objectives. Located in Toowoomba, the agricultural heart of the Darling Downs, UniSQ provides unparalleled industry insights and delivers top-tier education through its connection to a globally recognized Agricultural Engineering research center. Through practical, industry-focused training, you'll develop skills in machinery operation, soil and water conservation, sustainable farming practices, and hydraulic systems - equipping you to implement engineering solutions for agricultural challenges.
Given the critical shortage of skilled professionals in agriculture, your qualification will position you as a valuable asset to leading organizations. Graduates find opportunities across diverse sectors, including government roles in water resources, agricultural development, forestry, soil preservation, and environmental protection, as well as positions with private engineering consultancies.
Applicant must have Australian year 12 level or equivalent.
