This two-year program is tailored to equip you for a career as a registered nurse in Australia. You'll gain the skills to collaborate in healthcare teams, delivering safe, effective nursing care that aligns with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia's professional standards.
All instruction occurs at the Translational Research Institute, located within Princess Alexandra Hospital in Woolloongabba. The curriculum includes over 800 hours of supervised clinical training across diverse healthcare environments, with placements at Princess Alexandra Hospital and affiliated clinical sites.
Taught by experienced healthcare professionals, the program combines cutting-edge theory with practical skills through problem-based learning. You'll merge classroom knowledge with hands-on clinical experience, developing critical thinking abilities to deliver exceptional patient care.
A bachelor degree and have completed one tertiary course in biological science, chemistry or physics at an undergraduate level (or equivalent).The minimum GPA to be considered for admission into this program is 4.0.Prior study must have been completed within the last 10 years including postgraduate study following the qualifying undergraduate degree.

For other English Language Proficiency Tests and Scores approved for UQ TOEFL IBT - Overall 100, listening 25, reading 25, writing 27, speaking 23. Pearsons - Overall 72, sub bands minimum 72. Bridging English (BE) results, TOEFL PB, CES, and BEP not accepted.
