This intensive two-year full-time course offers comprehensive training and hands-on experience to prepare you for a rewarding career in professional counseling. Designed for graduates holding recognized degrees in social work, psychology, human services, nursing or similar disciplines, the curriculum helps professionals acquire essential counseling credentials.
With an emphasis on blended counseling methods and practical psychotherapy applications, the program aims to improve results for individuals facing various difficulties while maintaining ethical standards.
Through specialized coursework, you'll expand your counseling expertise and practical abilities. The curriculum covers research-based counseling techniques, core best-practice guidelines, and effective strategies for serving diverse client populations.
A bachelor degree with demonstrated prior learning in the social and behavioural sciences (e.g. in social work, psychology, social welfare, behavioural studies, human services, nursing, therapies, medicine, or related fields).
The minimum GPA to be considered for admission into this program is 4.0.
