The Graduate Certificate in Peace and Conflict Studies enhances your understanding of the factors driving modern conflicts while exploring methods for resolution and peacebuilding.
This six-month full-time program (or part-time option) features instruction from globally respected scholars specializing in Indigenous affairs, gender studies, ethics, justice, development, security, and environmental issues. Leveraging their fieldwork in conflict zones, these experts will guide you in analyzing different forms of conflict and resistance, as well as pathways to peace.
Hosted by UQ's School of Political Science and International Studies, the program operates through the Graduate Centre in Governance and International Affairs - a globally recognized hub for excellence in peace and conflict education and research.
An approved degree with a GPA of 4.5; or
Have completed post-secondary studies and relevant work experience, approved by the executive dean.

For other English Language Proficiency Tests and Scores approved for UQ TOEFL IBT - Overall 87, listening 19, reading 19, writing 21 and speaking 19. TOEFL PB - Overall 570, listening 54, reading 54, writing 59/5. Pearsons - Overall Score of 64 and 60 in all sub bands. BEP - A minimum overall grade of 4 plus a minimum grade of C in all macro skills. CES - Overall 176 and 169 in all sub bands. OET is not accepted.
