This intensive six-month full-time course provides the geospatial data competencies required for career growth in diverse sectors including ecological studies, resource exploration, public health, city planning, mathematical applications, map-making, land surveying, geographical research, and environmental conservation.
Work with cutting-edge technology in specialized labs equipped with modern GIS tools, remote sensing capabilities, automated geospatial programming solutions, and web-based mapping platforms.
Engage with national GIS databases and platforms to analyze critical datasets including demographic statistics, satellite imagery, and topographic mapping services, gaining valuable insights into their wide-ranging applications across multiple industries.
Bachelor degree in any field, with UQ or equivalent GPA of 4 or above on a 7 point scale; or 2 years of work experience in the same discipline.

For other English Language Proficiency Tests and Scores approved for UQ TOEFL IBT - Overall 87, listening 19, reading 19, writing 21 and speaking 19. TOEFL PB - Overall 570, listening 54, reading 54, writing 59/5. Pearsons - Overall Score of 64 and 60 in all sub bands. BEP - A minimum overall grade of 4 plus a minimum grade of C in all macro skills. CES - Overall 176 and 169 in all sub bands. OET is not accepted.
