Discover your passion for wildlife while developing specialized knowledge in animal biology, conservation, and management. This program lets you examine both native and exotic species including amphibians, reptiles, birds, and mammals, while exploring biodiversity and human-animal relationships. Learn from top wildlife scientists and biologists as you acquire the expertise to design and assess wildlife management initiatives for both captive and wild populations. Our practical industry placements provide real-world experience at zoos, sanctuaries, government departments, animal welfare groups, and wildlife reserves. You'll also have the chance to participate in international study trips focused on global wildlife management practices. By studying with us, you'll complete your degree equipped with the skills and experience to pursue diverse career paths in research, wildlife conservation, and animal management.
Queensland Year 12 (or equivalent) General English subject (Units 3 & 4, C); General Mathematics or Mathematical Methods (Units 3 & 4, C). Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics are recommended subjects.

For other English Language Proficiency Tests and Scores approved for UQ TOEFL IBT - Overall 87, listening 19, reading 19, writing 21 and speaking 19. TOEFL PB - Overall 570, listening 54, reading 54, writing 59/5. Pearsons - Overall Score of 64 and 60 in all sub bands. BEP - A minimum overall grade of 4 plus a minimum grade of C in all macro skills. CES - Overall 176 and 169 in all sub bands. OET is not accepted.
