The Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Sciences (Honours) offers a direct route to becoming an Accredited Exercise Scientist (AES) or Accredited Sport Scientist (AspS). In these professions, you'll use your specialized knowledge to enhance elite athletic performance, support healthy aging, and boost overall health and wellness. Career opportunities span diverse environments including sports academies, athletic organizations, rehabilitation clinics, hospitals, fitness centers, research facilities, and military settings. Throughout the program, you'll develop skills in creating, implementing, and assessing tailored exercise programs for individuals with unique requirements. The curriculum explores human movement in depth, covering biological foundations, technological applications, behavioral aspects, and industry standards in exercise and sports science. Upon graduation, you'll qualify for membership with Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA) as an Accredited Exercise Scientist. Those who complete the 'Developing the Elite Athlete' elective and supervised practicum can additionally pursue accreditation as a Sport Scientist.
Queensland Year 12 (or equivalent) General English subject (Units 3 & 4, C); and one of Biology, Chemistry or Physics (Units 3 & 4, C).

Pearsons - Overall 72, sub bands minimum 72.
BEP - A minimum overall grade of 5 plus a minimum grade of A in all macro skills.
CES - Overall 185, All sub bands minimum 185.
OET is not accepted.
