Additional research training or coursework may be required as part of the program. Students will receive continuous guidance, mentorship, and engagement with our research community. The PhD program cultivates students' ability to design and execute independent, high-quality research with significant originality. Candidates are encouraged to explore interdisciplinary approaches when selecting research topics. Prior to applying for a Doctor of Philosophy, prospective students must consult with a qualified academic staff member, ideally their intended primary supervisor. Domestic students may qualify for financial assistance through the Commonwealth Government’s Research Training Program (RTP), while international students must cover full tuition but can apply for various scholarships designed for high-achieving candidates.
