Earning a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) or Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) allows you to follow your academic interests while being mentored by internationally renowned experts.
Transmission represents an innovative research community where PhD and Masters candidates investigate the evolving landscape of creative fields spanning Arts, Music, Media, Communication, Design, Science, Technology and Engineering.
This trans-disciplinary doctoral initiative, 'Transmission,' connects graduate researchers with FASTlab, using practical challenges from corporate, government and nonprofit sectors as training opportunities.
The program also enables industry partners to develop research initiatives for graduate students, who receive joint supervision from School of Creative Industries faculty and field experts.
Both doctoral and master's candidates collaborate with faculty and peers, conducting both practice-based and theoretical research within their specialized groups. These research teams gather monthly at FASTLab workshops to present findings and learn from visiting scholars, professionals, and industry leaders.

i) have satisfied all of the requirements for admission to the degree of Bachelor with Honours Class 1 or Honours Class II, Division 1 or any other degree approved for this purpose by the Head of School; or
ii) have satisfied all the requirements for admission to a degree of Bachelor in the University or another degree approved for this purpose by the Head of School; or
iii) in exceptional cases produce evidence of possessing such other academic or professional qualifications and/or experience as may be approved by the Head of School; or
