Earning a Master of Marketing from the University of Newcastle provides graduates with essential marketing expertise to design and implement strategic marketing initiatives across nonprofit, government, and corporate sectors. Students can pursue the Master of Marketing through in-person classes at Newcastle City Precinct, online delivery, or a blended approach. This flexible structure enables you to manage work, personal commitments, and studies according to your schedule. The program deepens knowledge of marketing fundamentals, consumer behavior analysis, and strategic marketing leadership.
Entry into the Master of Marketing will be available for applicants who have:
Bachelor (Honors) Degree, or an equivalent or higher qualification; or
Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent or higher qualification, in a related field such as accounting, business, commerce, communication, economics, finance, human resource management, industrial relations, management, or marketing; or
Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent or higher qualification, not in a related field and 1-year relevant organizational experience; or
At least 7 years' relevant organizational experience, including 2 years in a management position; or
Successful completion of 75% (30 units) of one of the following UoN College of Human and Social Futures programs:
Graduate Certificate in Business Administration
Graduate Certificate in Applied Finance
Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management
Graduate Certificate in Marketing
Graduate Certificate in Professional Accounting
TOEFL paper-based test score of 550; TOEFL internet based score of 79; IELTS (Academic) score of 6.5; PTE GSE score of 58; Cambridge English: Advanced score of 58.
