This program equips educators with the pedagogical expertise, understanding, and impact needed to foster competent, self-assured, and balanced individuals. The University of Newcastle's Bachelor of Education (Primary) cultivates the competencies, insights, and professional attitudes required for an outstanding teaching career. Upon completion, graduates qualify for K-6 teaching positions across New South Wales' public, Catholic, and independent school systems, as well as other educational settings. This degree prepares graduates to become: motivating educators capable of professional, informed, and impactful teaching in primary schools; perceptive academics skilled in examining educational frameworks, policies, and methodologies; and visionary contributors prepared to positively influence broader educational discussions and initiatives.
