Exceptional students completing their Bachelor of Arts or equivalent program with a minimum GPA of 5.0 can pursue an additional year of full-time study (or part-time equivalent) to earn a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree.
The BA (Honours) program offers adaptable learning through both discipline-specific and interdisciplinary approaches. Qualification Requirements
Eligibility for admission to this program is based on applicants having completed a Bachelor degree in a cognate area with a minimum GPA of 5.0:
across all studies undertaken within the program, or
across a major in the proposed area of study, or
across 80 units of 3000 level courses (which must include at least 40 units of 3000 level courses in the major where a major exists), or
where the applicant has completed less than 80 units at 3000 level, a GPA of 5.0 calculated from at least 60 units of 3000 level courses (which includes at least 40 units of 3000 level courses in the major where a major exists).
In exceptional circumstances, an application which does not meet the above requirements may be considered.
Applicants for this program must satisfy a minimum English Language Proficiency Standard equivalent to an IELTS overall minimum of 6.0 with no subtest result below 6.0. Admission to our undergraduate degree programs usually requires successful completion of a senior secondary school qualification similar to the Higher School Certificate (HSC), the highest educational award in New South Wales schools. , TOEFL IBT 60 R: 13 L:12 S:18 Writing 21
