The Graduate Certificate in Computing offers a concise program for those seeking specialized knowledge in Computing. Students will explore four advanced Computing subjects to enhance their current qualifications or, for beginners, complete foundational courses before pursuing further studies in this field.
This certificate provides diverse Computing elective options. Participants can develop new expertise or refresh their skills by selecting from various domains such as Artificial Intelligence, Bioinformatics, Database Systems, e-Commerce platforms, and other established and emerging Computing and IT specialties.
Admission to this program requires one of the following:
3-year undergraduate degree equivalent to a standard Australian Bachelor degree with a minimum 65% average; or
Minimum 3-years' work experience in the area of science or engineering.
Those without these qualifications or experience may submit an application on the basis of a combined education and work experience. Applications will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
English Language Requirements:
IELTS: 6.5 overall (min. 6.0 in each subtest); TOEFL IBT (Internet Based): 90 overall (min. 23 in writing, 22 in reading, listening and speaking); Pearson (PTE - Academic): 64 overall (min. 54 in each subtest); C1 Advanced Cambridge: 176 overall (min. 169 in each subtest); C2 Proficiency Cambridge: 180 overall (min. 180 in each subtest); UNSW Global University English Entry Course (UEEC): Successful completion with a minimum overall grade of C+ and a minimum grade of C in the writing component.
