Earning a Master of Science in Information Technology will enhance your IT qualifications and experience, propelling your career forward. Develop advanced skills in IT systems management, data science, networking, and network security through a program that can be completed in 1.5 years or extended with part-time study options. You have two completion paths: Coursework - involving 36 credit points of study, or Coursework and dissertation - combining 24 credit points of coursework with a 12-credit dissertation (totaling 36 points). The latter option becomes available after completing 12 credit points with a minimum 2.5 GPA. After completing one year (24 credit points), you may opt to graduate with a Graduate Diploma in Information Technology Management, Internetworking and Security, or Data Science, depending on your course selection. Flexible study options accommodate work, family, and personal commitments.
Recognised Australian Computer Society (ACS) accredited Bachelor's degree in IT (AQF Level 7); OR Recognised Bachelors' degree (AQF Level 7) plus an approved qualification in IT (AQF Level 8); OR Recognised Honours degree (AQF Level 8) plus 5 or more years of relevant experience. Recognition of relevant and current informal or non-formal learning may be used for entry requirements, and should be discussed with the Academic Chair.
English Language requirements: IELTS overall 6.0 with no band below 6.0; CAE - 169 overall with no band below 169; PTE - 50 with no band below 50; TOEFL IBT - 73 with no band less than 18; OET - OET with a minimum of C (250-290) in each of the four components.
