The Bachelor of Media (Honours) is a one-year intensive program designed for exceptional students who have completed an undergraduate degree in Media. This advanced course allows participants to enhance their expertise in Media while cultivating valuable analytical, problem-solving, and research capabilities through either a substantial independent research thesis or a practice-oriented research project.
The Public Relations & Advertising specialization within the Honours program requires students to complete 48 UOC (equivalent to one year of full-time study or two years part-time).
This Honours track combines seminar participation with either a research thesis or practical project. The curriculum includes 18 UOC of coursework and 30 UOC dedicated to the thesis/practical component. Students may choose between conducting original research culminating in a 15,000-word thesis or undertaking a year-long research project that combines practical work with a 7,000-10,000 word written thesis.
